Renters’ Rights Act 2026: Key Changes for Landlords and Tenants

The Renters’ Rights Act is set to transform the private rental sector, with major changes expected from May 2026.

Key reforms include the abolition of “no-fault” evictions (Section 21) and the introduction of stronger tenant protections.

Landlords will need to adapt to new compliance requirements, including stricter eviction processes and improved tenancy standards.

While these changes aim to create a fairer rental market, they also highlight the importance of working with experienced property management companies
to ensure full compliance.
